About

Giedre Jackyte was born in the small town of Kazlu Ruda, Lithuania. After turning 19, she moved to London to pursue her passion for performing arts.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Dance from Roehampton University, one of the world’s top institutions for dance. Seeking to further develop her acting abilities, she also trained at London’s prestigious Identity School of Acting, known for producing talented stars like Letitia Wright and Damson Idris. Now based in London, Giedre works as an actress, dancer, and martial artist, building on her studies to establish herself in the city’s vibrant performing arts scene. Though she left Lithuania, her roots there continue to inspire and influence her work on the stage and screen.

Giedre’s passion for athletic pursuits took root early on. As a youth, she devoted herself to the discipline of Karate Kyokushin. Seeking new challenges as an adult, she pursued mastery of Eskrima Doce Pares, a Filipino martial art. Her diligence paid off with a British championship title. Her lifelong embrace of diverse fighting styles reflects an enduring spirit of curiosity and competitiveness.
Giedre’s talents extend beyond the stage and dojo. She works as a journalist and film correspondent for The Bite Mag, bringing her keen insights to the written word. An entrepreneurial spirit led her to launch Global Juno in 2018, securing support from the Derwent Community and Urban MBA initiatives. Through Global Juno, Giedre channels her creativity and business acumen into new ventures spanning media and performing arts.
